Exploring the Past, Present, and Future of the Bronx River

Mt. Pleasant Blythedale UFSD is New York's only state accredited K-12 public school located in a children's hospital. All students are patients at Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla, NY. Because our students have significant medical issues and extensive therapies, class trips are not permitted. Therefore, it has been necessary to devise creative methods for bringing the Bronx River into the classroom to facilitate learning and meet this project's teaching objectives.
